What is a CSA?

Farm to Family CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a subscription program whereby consumers support local farmers by becoming members and agreeing to buy a box or bag of food every week during the growing season.

Where do I pickup my food?

Fresh, local food is selected and waiting for you to pick up at Sappington Farmers’ Market. Pick-ups will be Friday’s noon to close and Saturdays 9am–noon at Sappington Farmers’ Market starting every week from May 4–Oct. 26, 2012.

When does the CSA run?

Our 2012 CSA runs from May 4 through October 26, 2012.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up at the customer service desk at Sappington Farmers' Market or sign up online below.

How much does it cost?

There is a 26 Week Membership Fee of $30 and the weekly boxesare $30 each. Members can pay $30.00 every week or
or save the membership fee by paying all 26 weeks in advance $750.00.

Do I get to choose my food?

The food is selected for you from the freshest locally grown products.

What is the value of my CSA box?

You are guaranteed to receive at least $30.00 of food in each box.

What if I don’t know how to use a certain vegetable?

Every week, our store nutritionist will post ideas online about how to use what’s in your box
